Even in her final weeks, Maya Angelou’s brilliance remained.The author, actress and human rights activist died Wednesday at age 86, leaving a profound impact on the world.Her last recorded words were captured a week ago today, May 22, at her home in Winston-Salem, N.C. The video statement is set to be delivered Friday at Major League Baseball’s Civil Rights Luncheon in Houston.
